Thorny’s Coat Red is always a blend of various red grapes and in 2018 we decided to make it a truly international red. With primarily Tempranillo (Spanish), Sangiovese (Italian) and Syrah (French), this fun red shows that different backgrounds can produce something wonderful!
Aroma: Red berries, soft spice, and aged characters.
Palate: Soft tannins lead to a variety of red berries, cherries and a lingering spiciness.
Pairing: Just about anything you would pair a red wine with. Any meat, vegetarian lasagna, mild cheeses.
