Wine Club Terms & Conditions

Membership Details

Wine club selections are billed on the first day of the month of the quarterly selection. Wine may only be purchased by and delivered to persons who are 21 years of age or older. Benefits are non-transferable; limit to (2) two people per membership. Thornton Winery reserves the right to refuse service at anytime, or to cancel your membership. Member Benefits are subject to change. Thornton Winery has the right to modify or terminate wine club benefits at any time without notification.

Shipping Members

Packages are shipped via UPS which will attempt delivery (3) three times before sending it back to Thornton Winery. It is the responsibility of the member to notify Thornton Winery of any address changes before wine is shipped. Any shipping costs incurred for refused or re-shipping wines are the responsibility of the member. We are unable to ship to a P.O. Box or API/FPO, and an adult signature is required at time of delivery (age 21 or older).

Shipping wine out of state is allowed in California with the exception of some US states, due to legal restrictions. Sorry, we are unable to ship wine and champagne to AL, AR, DE, KY, MA, MD, MO, MS, NH, NM, NE, NY, OK, RI, UT, or VA. At delivery, each package must be signed for by someone 21 years or older. Please note that we are unable to ship wine to a P.O. Box.

Payment Policy

All wine shipments, including taxes and applicable costs, are automatically billed to a credit card on file for each member. Credit cards are charged within (7) seven days prior to shipment. Please update credit card on file if necessary.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

The Wine Clubs are subscriptions and will continue to automatically bill until you decide to cancel your membership with us. You may cancel your membership after receiving (3) three shipments. You must cancel your membership by calling the Wine Club directly at 951-699-0099 ext. 3108 or emailing We do not refund wine that is damaged due to extreme heat or cold weather while in transit. We will replace bottles for an additional shipping cost if the damaged bottle is returned. No exchanges are allowed. Memberships may be cancelled at any time with written notice after the member has fulfilled three selections without further obligation, except for wine billed or shipped prior to receipt of notice by the Wine Club Department.
