Kristapor Allen Najarian is a Los Angeles–based composer and multi-instrumentalist whose work has been performed and commissioned internationally, including by Ani and Ida Kavafian and cellist Antonio Lysy, and at venues and festivals such as Juilliard’s Starling-Delay, Chamber Music Northwest, Salle Cortot (Paris), and Yerevan Perspectives. Notable pieces include A Tale for Two Violins, The Year 1915, Rhapsodic Fantasy, Pi (sextet), The Square Root of 2 (large ensemble), and the orchestral Le rêve interrompu. A versatile violinist, guitarist, and mandolinist, he performs and records across genres and has appeared at Walt Disney and Zipper Concert Halls and the Sydney Opera House. Raised in a musical family, he holds a BA in Music from UCLA and composition diplomas from the École Normale de Musique de Paris.
