Jimmy is a versatile performer and musician from Long Beach, California — a studio and session guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, bandleader, musical director, producer, and arranger. A veteran of 500+ recording sessions, his live and studio credits include Patti LaBelle, Bobby Bland, Thelma Houston, The Coasters, The Box Tops, Brenton Wood, Ellis Hall, Gerald Albright, Barbara Morrison, Big Joe Houston, Guitar Shorty, Little Caesar & the Romans, Les McCann, Eddie Harris, the Tower of Power horns, and Oleta Adams.

He holds a Master of Music from California State University, Long Beach, and has studied with numerous industry luminaries across multiple musical disciplines.
