Gerald Albright
Gerald Albright, an accomplished saxophonist and bassist born in Los Angeles, has made a significant impact on the smooth jazz genre. After initially focusing on saxophone, he switched to bass after witnessing Louis Johnson’s performance. Albright's career began with R&B legend Patrice Rushen and rapidly expanded to include collaborations with stars like Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, and The Temptations.
Launching his solo career in 1987 with Just Between Us, he has since released several chart-topping albums and participated in all-star tours like Guitars & Saxes. His Grammy-nominated works include Pushing the Envelope and Slam Dunk, alongside hit collaborations like 24/7 with Norman Brown.

Jonathan Butler
Jonathan Butler is a celebrated singer-songwriter and guitarist whose remarkable journey began in South Africa amid the challenges of apartheid. As the first non-white artist to receive radio play and national television exposure in South Africa, his music transcended barriers and resonated deeply, inspiring figures like Nelson Mandela during his imprisonment.
Jonathan’s musical journey started with a homemade one-string guitar gifted by his father. His career skyrocketed after winning a local talent contest, leading to his signing with Jive Records at just thirteen. His debut single broke racial barriers, garnering multiple prestigious nominations and accolades, including a GRAMMY® nomination for “Lies.”
In 2025, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from Stellenbosch University. Jonathan Butler is excited to perform live at Thornton Winery, sharing his spiritual and heartfelt music with fans. His passion and resilience shine brightly, making his shows unforgettable experiences.

General Admission
You can find a seat in the general admission section, which features concert-style rows available on a first-come, first-served basis. The concert seating takes place outdoors on the Patio, and it’s advisable to start lining up one to two hours before the show begins to ensure you secure your spot. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., so plan to arrive on time for the best seating options. Please remember that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the venue.

Gourmet Supper Packages are an excellent way to enhance your concert experience through a special meal prepared by the Executive Chef. These packages provide a seamless and enjoyable dining experience with table service.
Important Seating Information
Concert Seating: All concert seating begins approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled showtime.
Location: Enjoy your meal on our shaded patio, located behind general admission, where all tables for the Gourmet Supper Package are set up.
Dedicated Service: A dedicated server will be assigned to each table from the moment the gates open until the performance concludes, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Seating Arrangements
Please note that all seating for the Gourmet Supper Packages are predetermined, assigned, and reserved. If you are a party of two, you will be seated with another couple to fill a table of four.
If you wish to sit with a specific couple and have purchased your tickets separately, please contact the box office to confirm both names of your party.
