Thornton Winery's four-star Cafe Champagne restaurant introduces a new fall menu this month featuring Chef du Cuisine Liam Griffin's signature Tenderloin of Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Chile Verde Wrap. The new fall menu includes something for everyone from the Kobe Beef Burger to the Classic Cioppino. Whether guests are looking for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner, they've arrived at the right place.
"Cafe Champagne was designed to serve the surrounding community and visiting Wine Country guests" shares Steve Thornton, President of Thornton Winery. "With local sourcing, everything about the menu and the restaurant has a local angle, including the fact that many of the staff members who make the restaurant such a great place to dine at, reside in the Temecula area."
Chef Liam Griffin adds "We offer great food at a good price point, and something that not everyone knows is that we also offer not only our own wines, but also highlight regional, boutique wines as well."
The menu is definitely diner friendly. Winemaker Don Reha has wine suggestions for most items printed on the menu. “This way our guests don’t have to guess what wine goes with which item.” “ I’ve taken all the stress out of the food and wine pairing experience.” He continues, "This is one of our best menus ever. It was a pleasure to match our premium wines with Chef's tempting offerings."
