THORNTON WINERY HOSTS 2ND ANNUAL TROPCIAL LUAU

TEMECULA - Light the tiki torches, swing your hips to the beating drum and hula the night away! Thornton Winery hosts their second annual Tropical Luau on August 28, 2004 at 6:30pm. Tickets are on sale now at $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

“The Tropical Luau sold out last year and was a huge success! We are really excited about making this event an annual summer tradition,” said Krista Chaich, Banquets Manager.

Thornton Winery’s passport to fun includes a gourmet Island Buffet, “The Hula Dancers,” a Polynesian Fire Dancer, live DJ with dancing and limbo contest with prizes.

The menu, prepared by California Restaurant Writer’s “Chef of the Year”, Steve Pickell, features: Tropical Salad Bar with Mahi Onion Dressing/Passion Fruit Dressing, Island Fruit Salad, Spicy Green Papaya Salad, Coconut Cashew Chicken, Hawaiian Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin, Sesame Ginger Shrimp, Stir Fried Vegetables, Jasmine Rice, Mango Crème Brulee, Macadamia Nut Tart and Thornton’s Sparkling Sangria!
