TROPCIAL LUAU

Thornton Winery hosts their second annual Tropical Luau on August
28, 2004 at 6:30pm. Tickets are on sale now at $65 per person, plus
tax and gratuity.
“The Tropical Luau sold out last year and was a huge success!
We are really excited about making this event an annual summer tradition,”
said Krista Chaich, Banquets Manager.
Thornton Winery’s passport to fun includes a gourmet Island
Buffet, “The Hula Dancers,” a Polynesian Fire Dancer,
live DJ with dancing and limbo contest with prizes.
The menu, prepared by California Restaurant Writer’s “Chef
of the Year”, Steve Pickell, features: Tropical Salad Bar with
Mahi Onion Dressing/Passion Fruit Dressing, Island Fruit Salad, Spicy
Green Papaya Salad, Coconut Cashew Chicken, Hawaiian Sweet & Sour
Pork Tenderloin, Sesame Ginger Shrimp, Stir Fried Vegetables, Jasmine
Rice, Mango Crème Brulee, Macadamia Nut Tart and Thornton’s
Sparkling Sangria!
John M. and Sally B. Thornton founded Thornton Winery, located North
