Meet the Chef . . .
Will Greenwood
Will Greenwood has enjoyed a staggering
number of accolades during his remarkable career. One of his
major highlights was when he caught the eye of the Clintons and
they requested he seek the position of White House Chef. His
talent bestowed him the honors of “Best Chef in America” award
from the American Academy of Restaurants in 1996 and “Chef
of the Year” in 1994 from the National Restaurant Association.
He was a fixture in DC and has cooked for many prestigious politicians
and celebrities.
Greenwood has been selected to prepare high profile
meals at many outstanding and honorable events: Julia Child’s
80th Birthday Celebration, Napa Valley Wine Auctions, several James
Beard Award celebrations and
American Institute of Food and Wine convention dinners, Napa Valley
Vintners Association Press Dinner, The America Beef Council Biannual
National Press Celebration Dinner, Country Music Awards Ceremony
Dinner and Robert Mondovi’s 80th Birthday.
Greenwood’s successes have been recognized
by several of the food industry’s most prestigious publications,
giving him cover articles in such publications as: “Gourmet,” "Bon
Appetit,” “Chocolatier” and “People Magazine.”
